A great day at Woodland Park Zoo

Devon hanging with the Monkeys

Cruising around for the penguins of Madagascar

What a great day we had today. Dori and I took the kids to the Woodland Park Zoo. We laughed for the first hour or so. The kids were so excited about being together, and seeing the animals, that they acted like we never take them anywhere. What a great day. I'm thankful for my friendship I have with Dori. Your the best.

To the man of my wildest Dreams.

I love you

Happy Birthday

Thank you for loving me, protecting me, always making me laugh, teaching me patients, and always being their for me.

I wish you all could hear the noise, it's awesome.

She is loving every minute of it

Cameron loves to hold her. "Mommy, I can stand I won't drop her".

Good morning, do you ever have those mornings when everyone is just hanging out and you can feel the love that your family has for one another. I love those moments. We had one this morning. Lauren woke and it was like the house began to beam with baby love. Cameron, "mommy am sooooo glad you had Lauren". Devon, "oh baby I love you". Imagine if you can with me at that moment Lauren is being mobbed and LOVING every moment of it. She is squealing at the top of her lungs, smiling from ear to ear. Thank you God for my family..

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Devon and Mrs. Murphy

One down, eighteen more years to go. Devon graduated from his first year of pre-k. What an amazing year. It was fun to see his progress. When he started the year he could only wright I "D" now he can write his name and many more words. It's cool. Devon attended Centralia Christan School. He loved it, he also thought is was so cool that his cousin's Brayden, and Josh went their. When Devon's walked out of school to be picked up he would pass Josh class room he loved it when the door was open and he could wave at him. It stared in that green shirt and ended in it too. The only difference was the shorts were two sizes bigger. Devon had amazing teachers, Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Saari. They were competent, and on their toes at all times. The kids received lays when they graduated. Mrs. Murphy lived in Hawaii for 11 years and this is her first year back in the states. It's a tradition in Hawaii to give some one a lay when they graduate. Devon really has a special place for Jill (Murphy) maybe because she sang silly songs, came over to see him at his house, hung out at her house, or because she has two boys that Devon loves to play with. We wanted them to come to his birthday part (they are in third and six grade):). I can't wait to see what the future holds for him. Way to go Devon!

THe D-MAN TURNED "5" (MY BABY)

Devon loves to swim:)
I missed the blowout:(

The fun stared on Thursday May 28Th, when Devon turned 5 years old. It's a little hard for JB and myself to believe that our first born is five. JB said last night, "I can remember like yesterday the day we brought him home, holding him, and changing his diapers". It really does go by so fast. Five, can you believe it? WOW! We had five fun filled days in the sun. It started with a party at school. Devon wanted a superhero party. So Spiderman was the guest of honor. The kids loved the cup cakes. One of the the girls in Devon's class gave him a Batman piggy bank and a Diego bathroom kit. The first thing Devon did when he got home from school was take a shower. That evening we had a family swim party. The pool was great 89* (thanks Spud). The kids had fun swimming and running around the yard, playing superhero's. Aunti Jordy made superhero capes for the boys, and Aunti Lou gave Devon a Starwars the Clone Wars costume (don't ask) the are still a hit at our house. Friday we took the boys to the driving range, then headed over to Grandma's for a quick dip in the pool to cool off. Devon had the Fletcher kids come swim with him. That evening mommy and daddy had a surprise birthday party to go to for my best friend Dori. We had a great evening it was our first without Lauren. We got up early on Saturday and went to the airport to pick up are friends the Wagner's from Idaho. We spent the morning and early afternoon in downtown Seattle. That afternoon we headed for the lake. What a great day in the sun. Sunday and part of Monday we spent the night at the Great Wolf Lodge. The adults had as much fun as the kids. Then Monday night we headed to the Mariners game. We lost, but the field was beautiful, the food was good, and the friends were great. The highlight of the evening was when both Devon and Cameron caught foul balls at the game (with a little help from the guy's on the ground crew). Devon you are growing up so fast, what a kind, compassionate young man you are growing into. I'm so proud of you and happy you are mine:) I love you.
